The Revelation of Paul is an apocalyptic account that expands on Paul's cryptic vision of the third heaven in 2 Corinthians 12:2. In this narrative, Paul encounters a mysterious spirit disguised as a small child, who suddenly tears Paul's soul from his body and propels him on a perilous journey through the higher heavens. There, Paul witnesses the harrowing trials whereby souls face judgment and, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, overcomes the formidable powers that determine their fates.
