These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GnosisBot (the “Service”), a Discord bot and related services provided by Other Gospels LLC (“Other Gospels,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By adding, using, or interacting with GnosisBot on Discord or any other supported platform (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.1 Minimum Age. You must be at least the minimum age required by the Platform and by the laws of your jurisdiction to use the Service. In all cases, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
1.2 Authority. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a Discord server, community, or business), you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2.1 Third-Party Platform. The Service operates on third-party platforms such as Discord (each, a “Third-Party Platform”). Your use of any Third-Party Platform is governed by that platform’s own terms, policies, and community guidelines, which you must also comply with.
2.2 No Affiliation. Other Gospels and GnosisBot are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Discord or any other Third-Party Platform or religious institution. Any references to third-party names or trademarks are for identification purposes only.

3.3 No Guarantee of Availability. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
4.1 Use via Discord Account. You access the Service through your Discord account and/or servers you administer or join. We do not create separate login credentials for you. Your identity and permissions are determined by the Third-Party Platform.
4.2 Server Administrators. If you are a server owner or administrator who invites GnosisBot:
4.3 Access Restrictions. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Service for any user or server that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or risks harm to the Service, to other users, or to third parties.
5.1 User Content Definition. “User Content” means any text, data, messages, commands, configuration settings, or other material you or your server members submit, transmit, or configure in connection with the Service, including:
5.2 Responsibility for User Content. You are solely responsible for User Content you provide or allow in your server, including compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.
5.3 License to Us. By providing User Content in connection with the Service, you grant Other Gospels a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and process such User Content as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Service.
5.4 No Monitoring Obligation. We are not obligated to monitor User Content. However, we may review, remove, or restrict access to User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.
6.1 Our Rights. The Service, including all software, code, design, features, compilations, and original content (excluding User Content and third-party content), is owned by or licensed to Other Gospels and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You receive no ownership rights in the Service.
6.2 Limited License to You. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Service through authorized Third-Party Platforms for personal, non-commercial and/or internal community use.
6.3 Third-Party Texts and Translations. Some texts, translations, and commentary available through the Service may be owned by third parties and used under license or applicable legal exceptions. All rights in such materials are retained by their respective owners. You agree not to:

7.2 Violate the terms, policies, or community guidelines of any Third-Party Platform (such as Discord).
7.3 Harass, threaten, or incite violence against individuals or groups, including on the basis of religion, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
7.4 Promote or engage in extremist, terrorist, or violent activities.
7.5 Misrepresent quotations, fabricate sources, or deliberately attribute texts to incorrect traditions or authors in a manner intended to deceive or defraud.
7.6 Circumvent technical controls, access the Service by automated means not expressly provided (e.g., unauthorized scraping or bulk harvesting of content), or interfere with the normal operation of the Service or any server or network.
7.7 Upload, transmit, or configure content that:
7.8 Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Service, except to the limited extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.
8.1 No Religious Authority. The Service provides access to quotations and references from a wide range of religious, spiritual, philosophical, and related texts, including but not limited to Gnostic and other world scriptures. The inclusion, ordering, or presentation of any text does not constitute endorsement of any belief system, doctrine, practice, or interpretation by Other Gospels.

13.2 Cap on Direct Damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

15.2 By Us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a risk to the Service or other users, or for any other lawful reason.
15.3 Effect of Termination. Upon termination:
16.1 Governing Law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
16.2 Venue. You and Other Gospels agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee for any dispute that is not subject to mandatory arbitration or that cannot be resolved informally, and you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

17.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any other policies or agreements incorporated by reference (such as our Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Other Gospels regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17.3 No Waiver. Failure by Other Gospels to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
17.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction.
